Joseph Nicholas, age 40, of Olney, Illinois, passed away on June 5, 2026, at Axiom gardens in Flora, Illinois. 
Joseph was born on August 5, 1985, in Olney, Illinois, the son of Robert and Doris (Wilson) Nicholas. 

A Funeral Service will be held on June 11, 2026, at the Meyer Funeral Home in Olney with a visitation for family and friends for 1 hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home to help with expences.
 Arrangements are under the care of Meyer Funeral Home in Olney.

He built an outdoor fire pit and bench for his mother out of old bricks where they spent a lot of evenings enjoying the fire. He was an avid gardener and grew several types of berries, flowers and vegetables. He loved watching wrestling and was a great fan of the Tennessee Titans football team.

 nieces and nephews; Carson, Maddison, Vinson, Robert, Natalie, Brooklynn and Silas (on the way).

 Rodney was preceded in death by his father Robert Donald Nicholas and brother Robert Donald Nichols II.
