Obituary
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM – Friday, September 14, 2012 at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Ste. Marie, IL. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Ste. Marie, IL. Visitation will be held 1 hour before the mass. Arrangements are under the care of Blake-Buchanan Funeral Home in Newton, IL. The obituary can be viewed and condolences left at www.blakefh.com. In loving memory of Joyce, memorials may be made to the Lafayette Industrial Workshop or the donor's choice.
Joyce Ann Litzelman was born on December 12, 1947 in Robinson, Illinois the daughter of Theodore and Beulah (Needs) Litzelman. She was raised in Ste Marie, IL until 1987 when she and her parents moved to Manchester, MO, to be closer to her sister. In 2001 she worked briefly as a volunteer at St Mary's Eye Center in Richmond Heights, MO alongside her sister. She worked from 2002-2009 at Lafayette Industrial Sheltered Workshop for individuals with developmental disabilities. The majority of her life was spent with her family. Due to declining health in December of 2009 she resided at West County Care Center in Ballwin, MO until her passing. Joyce was a delight and joy to everyone she knew.
Joyce is survived by her Sister Linda Litzelman of Manchester, MO and several cousins. Paid obit in Newton and Effingham with Pic. Free notice in all other papers.
