Julia Kay Ray, 62, of Olney, died at 8:45 AM, Friday, August 22nd, 2014 at her residence in Olney, Illinois.

Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 21st, 2014 from 2:30 - 5 PM at the Eagles Lodge in Olney. Cremation rites have been accorded.

Julia was born on March 13th, 1952 the daughter of Ernie Harrolle and Marilyn (Aldrige) Harrolle. She later married Kenneth Ray Sr. on May 29th, 1970. He preceded her in death.

She worked as a cook and prep in a restaurant. She also worked in home health care for many years. She will be sadly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew her.

Julia is survived by her son Kenneth L. "Butch� Ray Jr., of Olney; daughter Christina Lynn Renfrow of Olney; 2 brothers, Bill Harrolle and Ernie Harrolle; 3 sisters, Dianne Colwell, Sue Glover, and Kathy Baker; 2 grandchildren, Dawn Renfrow and Sally Raymond; 3 great-grandchildren, Audrey and Kendra Hall and Xander.

She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Ray Sr., parents Ernie and Marilyn Harrolle and 2 brothers Donnie Harrolle and Joe Harrolle.

Memorials can be made to Christina Renfrow to help pay for funeral expenses.
