Kathryn Mary Stepp, age 55
Of Newton, IL passed away at 9:01 AM – Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Barnes Jewish Hospital
in St. Louis, MO.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM – Monday, December 17, 2012 at Blake-Buchanan Funeral Home in Newton, IL with Mark Wilkinson officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until the service time. Memorials may be made to the family.
Kathryn was born on January 15, 1957 in Trenton, NJ the daughter of Anthony and Kathryn (Porter) Muscatell. She married Roy L. Stepp on July 4, 1990 and he survives.
Kathryn had worked in United States Postal Service and had been a waitress.
Kathryn attended Scott Avenue Christian Church and was a member of the Ambraw Eagles #4475. She was a dedicated supporter of the Humane Society and enjoyed doing crafts; sewing and spending time outdoors. She also was a NASCAR fan.
Kathryn is survived by:
Husband of 22 years – Roy L. Stepp of Newton, IL
4 Children – Kristy (Randy) Spence of Monroe, GA
Devon Debany - Army Serviceman– Stationed in California
Stephanie Ashley of Decatur, IL
Brandon (fiancé Melissa Gray) Debany of Olney, IL
Brother – Tony Muscatell of Georgia
Sister – Ruth Muscatell of California
7 Grandchildren
Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents.
