Kathy Joan Harris, age 63

Kathy Joan Harris, age 63, of Newton, Illinois passed away at 10:40 PM – Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM – Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at the Riverside Cemetery in Newton, Illinois.  Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service in the cemetery.  In loving memory of Kathy, memorials may be made to the family.  arrangements are under the care of the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois. Kathy was born on April 10, 1960, in Effingham, Illinois the daughter of John and Cathryn (Woods) Harris.

Kathy worked at E.R. Moore Cap and Gown Factory in Newton for 14 years. She later worked at Fox River and Community Support Systems.  She enjoyed doing word puzzles and reading.

Brother – Tony Harris of Newton, Illinois
Sisters – Patty Harris of Newton, Illinois

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Terry Harris, Eddie Harris Diane Harris.
