Kay Frohning, age 70
Of Ingraham, Illinois passed away at 8:47 AM - Saturday, August 2, 2014 at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham, IL.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM – Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Wendelin, Illinois with Fr. Mark Stec celebrating mass. Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Wendelin. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at the church and one half hour before the mass.
Arrangements are under the care of the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois.

Kay was born on November 8, 1943 in Olney, Illinois the daughter of Homer and Camilla (Baker) Brock.
She was united in marriage to Daniel Frohning on November 16, 1963 atHoly Cross Catholic Church in Wendelin.
Kay and her husband Daniel owned and operated Tri County Mill inIngraham, Illinois for 44 years.
Kay was a member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Wendelin. While she enjoyed cooking, gardening, and going to auctions,
her greatest joy was spending time withher husband, daughters, grandchildren, brothers and sisters,and other family and friends within the community.
Kay is survived by:
Husband of 50 years – Daniel Frohning of Ingraham, IL
Daughters – Dana Kinley of Springfield, IL and
Andrea Frohning (husband Samuel Jones) of Newtown, CT
6 Grandchildren – Whittington Kinley, Lincoln Kinley, Graham Kinley, Gracie Kinley, Morgan Frohning Jones and Parker Frohning Jones
Brothers – Randall (Marilyn) Brock of Olney, IL and Jim (Nancy) Brock of Olney, IL
Sisters – Marty (Lyle) Milligan of Clay City, IL, Rose Hughes of Parkersburg, IL, and Shirley Kessler (Robert) of Olney, IL.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents,father and mother-in-law William and Mary Frohning.
