Kenneth 'Ken' L. Winter, 86 of Olney, passed away at 11:56 PM on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.

Funeral service will be at 2 PM on Monday, July 26, 2021 in the chapel of Thrasher Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Parkersburg. Pastor Bryan White will be officiating.

Ken was born on July 1, 1935 in Olney the son of Graydon and Olive (Wells) Winter. He later married Patsy Wharf. She preceded him in death.

He worked in the oil fields and drove a semi for several years. He enjoyed going to restaurants and drinking coffee.

Ken is survived by his sister Dee Arterburn of Effingham; nephew Rick Arterburn of Mason; niece Shelly Pugh and husband Rob of Buta, TX; great niece Casey Moma and husband Justin of Taylorville; great-great nieces and nephew Alexis Strane, Gabbie Moma and Chayse Moma; and several cousins.

He is preceded in death by his wife Patsy Winter and parents Graydon and Olive Winter.
