Kenneth Francis Nadler, age 96
Kenneth Francis Nadler, age 96, of Newton, Illinois, passed away at 10:26 AM - Friday, December 8, 2017, at Willowbrook Memory Care in Effingham, Illinois.
Funeral services celebrating Kenny's life will be held at 11:00 AM – Saturday, December 16, 2017, at the Meyer Funeral Home in Dieterich, Illinois, with Carroll Ross officiating. Burial will be in the Scott Cemetery near Winterrowd, Illinois, with full military rites. Visitation will be held from 9:00 – 11:00 AM. In loving memory of Kenny, memorials may be made to the Winterrowd Christian Church.
Kenneth was born on May 31, 1921, on the family farm in Jasper County, Illinois, the son of William John "Bill" and Lilly Luvilla "Villa" (Gossman) Nadler. He married Norma Fae Kingery on November 22, 1947, and she preceded him in death on April 3, 2015.
Kenneth served his county in the United States Army during World War II with the Company "C" 4 th Armored Replacement Battalion, Fort Knox, Kentucky.
Kenneth was a farmer and bulldozer operator. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, as well as his work. He was a member of the Winterrowd Christian Church.

Ronald (Mary Kay) Nadler, Wheeler, Illinois
Daughter-in-law - Cheryl Nadler, Dieterich, Illinois
Grandchildren – Brent (Doris) Cox of Taylorsville, Kentucky; Kim Polanco of Scottsdale, Arizona; Chlorus (Diane) Cox of Wood River, Illinois; Sharrine "Sharri" (Harrell) Kerkhoff of Tuscola, Illinois; John (Amber) Nadler, Newton, Illinois and Erin (Kevin) Wickham, Newton, Illinois.
Step Grandchildren – Christy (John) Dietzen of Effingham, Illinois and Donna (Shawn) Fitzjarrald of Altamont, Illinois

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, wife, sons Gary Alexander Nadler and Dale William Nadler, daughter-in-law Janet Sharrine Nadler, granddaughter-in-law Melissa Jo Nadler, grandson-in-law David Polanco, sister Doris Wilmagene Rennekamp and brother-in-law Donald E Rennekamp.
Kenny's family would like to thank the staff at Willowbrook for caring for him, and treating him like family, for the past 6 years.
