Kenneth Lewis Young, age 69
of Newton, IL passed away at his home at 12:45 PM - Thursday, April 24, 2014.
Private family service will be held, with burial in the St. Patrick's Cemetery in Joliet, IL. Arrangements are under the care of the Meyer Funeral Home (formerly Blake-Buchanan Funeral Home) in Newton, IL. The obituary can be viewed and condolences left at www.meyerfh.com.
Kenneth Lewis Young was born on March 5, 1945 in Chicago, Illinois the son of Edward and Valera (LaMore) Young. Kenneth worked as a union carpenter until his retirement.
He enjoyed the outdoors and loved to hunt and fishing. These hobbies brought him to Jasper County where he lived until his passing. He also enjoyed watching movies, cooking and taking photographs.

Kenneth is survived by- Son – Christian (Suzanna) Young of North Glen Colorado Daughter – Jennifer Lee (David) Angstrom of Arvada, Colorado
