Lana Oneida Burgener, age 69, of Olney, passed away at 7:28 PM on Monday, April 11, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana.

Graveside service will be at Maple Dale Cemetery on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 12:30 PM. Visitation will be held from 11:30 AM-12:30 PM at the cemetery. Timothy Bowen will be officiating. Thrasher Family Funeral Home in Olney is in charge of arrangements

Lana was born on May 2, 1946 the daughter of Bryan Richard and Effie (Gann) Tucker. She later married Jerry L. Burgener Sr. on December 31, 1964 in Waynesville, Missouri. He preceded her in death.

She worked in housekeeping at Flora Manor for many years. She was a member of the American Legion and VFW of Olney. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed reading and spending time with her puppy Buster. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Lana is survived by her son, Jerry Burgener, Jr. and girlfriend Tina Palmer of Olney; 3 daughters, Kathleen Voigt and husband, Steven of Noble, Cyrena Fickas and husband Darrell of Cisne and Danielle Swinson and husband Tony of Noble; 3 sisters, Judith Ogle of Waynesville, Missouri, Ima Logan of Fredricktown, Missouri, and Melzona Wilson of Waynesville, Missouri; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Burgener Sr., parents Bryan and Effie Tucker, brother Roy York and 3 sisters, Vada Williams, Wanda Adkins and Juanita Irvin.
