Larry A. Carr, age 60
Of Cocoa Beach, Florida and formerly of Greenup, IL passed away at 4:13 AM – Sunday, August 19, 2012 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM (Central Time) – Friday, August 31, 2012 at the Bishop Funeral Home in Greenup, IL. Burial will be in the Harmony Cemetery north of Greenup, IL. Visitation will be held 1 hour before the services at the funeral home. There will also be a memorial service at 11:00 AM (Eastern Time) – September 8, 2012 at the Riverside Presbyterian Church in Cocoa Beach, FL.

Larry was born on July 10, 1952 in Greenup, IL the son of Benjamin Franklin "Hank" and Lila (Cutright) Carr. He married Trudy Lynn Ismael on July 8, 1972 and she preceded him in death on December 19, 1993. He later married Catherine Harmon on April 9, 1995 and she survives.
Larry worked for NASA and retired after 25 years of service as deputy director of Integrated Data Systems. He enjoyed boating, big game fishing; motorcycle riding and was a HAM radio operator.

Sister – Beth (Mike) Weger of Auburndale, FL

Larry was preceded in death by his father, wife Trudy and his grandparents.
