Larry L. Lawhorn, age 72
Of Jewett, Illinois passed away at 3:48 PM – Sunday, January 25, 2015
at his home surrounded by his family.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM – Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the Meyer Funeral Home (Formerly Bishop Funeral Home) in Greenup, Illinois with Greg Boldt officiating. Burial will be in the Mullens Cemetery in rural Montrose, Illinois. Visitation will be held 2 hours before the service. In loving memory of Larry, memorials may be made to the family.

Larry was born on March 16, 1942 in Cumberland County, Illinois the son of Arthur and Rhea Lawhorn. He married Jackie Ann Ard on October 19, 1963 and
she preceded him in death on January 31, 1986. He later married Janet Curtis on February 27, 1988 and she survives.

Larry worked in maintenance at Clark's Foundry in Mattoon, Illinois for several years and later owned operated Lawhorn Garage in Woodbury, Illinois.
Larry was a member of the Toledo Christian Church and the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and tinkering and doing mechanic work.

18 Grandchildren 27 Great Grandchildren
Brothers – Lonnie Bueker of Jewett, Illinois
John Bueker of Ina, Illinois
Sister – Donna Abbott of Toledo, Illinois
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; wife Jackie; daughter Jessie Lawhorn; son William Lawhorn; brothers Joe, Cleo, Ed, Ray, and Roy;
sisters Dorothy, Myrtle, and Jessie and 2 infant siblings.
