Larry Lee Scott, age 69
Of Newton, IL passed away at 11:55 AM – Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
Private family service will be held at the Blake-Buchanan Funeral Home in Newton, IL. Entombment will be in the Family Mausoleum at the Bethel Cemetery in Rural West Liberty, IL.
Larry was born on June 30, 1943 in Jasper County, IL the son of Chester and Marie (Wells) Scott. Larry married Deann Passalacqua on October 10, 1960 and she survives.
Larry was a life-long oil producer and co-owner of Scott Oil Company. He enjoyed working and spending time with his family.
Larry is survived by-
Wife of 51 Years- Deann Scott of Newton, IL
Son- Brad (Linda) Scott of Newton, IL
Grandsons- Brandon Scott and Trevor Scott of Newton, IL
Sisters - Arlene Bower of Newton, IL
Beatrice "Short" (Larry) Kibler of Olney, IL
Thelma (Dan) Bigard of West Liberty, IL
Larry was preceded in death by his parents and father and mother-in-law Tony & Margaret Passalacqua.
