Larry Joe 'Turtle' Tracy, age 50 of Olney, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at his residence in Olney.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM on Monday, November 13, 2017 at Antioch Christian Church in rural Richland County. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Burial will be at Haven Hill Memorial Gardens in Olney. Pastor Mike Baker will be officiating.

Turtle was born on June 26, 1967, in Olney, the son of Larry Don Tracy and Ella (Miller) Logan.

He worked construction for many years. He enjoyed wood working and putting up Christmas lights. He was a diehard Nascar fan especially of Tony Stewart. He won the Tour of Lights in Olney for his home's Christmas decorations. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Turtle is survived by his parents Larry Don Tracy and Ella Logan; companion Tawney Pfeifer; 3 step-children Rachel, Madison and Robert Pennington; great-nephew Blaze Tracy; 5 siblings, Tommy "Bucky" Tracy, Leona Kay Tracy, Don Tracy and wife Crystal, Brian and Brittany Biehl, and Michael Tracy; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
