Laurie G. Bach, age 70 of Olney, passed away at 5:50 PM on Saturday, November 22nd, 2014 at Deaconess Hospital Main Campus in Evansville, Indiana.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at First Church of Olney at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 30th, 2014. The Reverend Dale Akers will officiate the service.

Laurie was born on April 17th, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of John A. Bach and Stephanie (Durina) Bach. He later married Annie Olejnik on February 13th, 1971 in Chicag0.

Laurie was Catholic by faith, and worked as an Alarm Installer Specialist. He was a member of the Vanguard Club and will be sadly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.

Laurie is survived by a son, John Bach and his wife Patty of Olney, daughter Ann Marie Grooms and her husband Brian of Joliet, IL., 8 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Stephanie Bach, and wife Annie Bach.
