Leland Eugene "Sonny" Bruner, age 72
Of Teaque, Texas and formerly of Willow Hill, IL passed away at 1:40 AM – Sunday, February 12, 2012.
Private Family Service celebrating Sonny's life will be held. Arrangements are under the care of the Blake-Buchanan Funeral Home in Newton, IL. The obituary can be viewed and condolences left at www.blakefh.com.
Leland was born June 12, 1939 in Willow Hill, Illinois the son of Glen and Ruth (Sanders) Bruner. Leland is survived by his children: Karla, Jewell, Karen, Cheryl and Stewart.
Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.
2 Sisters- Carol Shook of Oblong, IL and Pat (Larry) Andrews of Willow Hill, IL.
2 Brothers- Jim (Linda) Bruner of Jewett, IL and Danny Bruner of Willow Hill, IL.
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Leland was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters Wanda Kibler, Barbara Stifle and Roberta Bruner, 3 brothers Robert Bruner, Jerry Bruner and Larry Bruner, 1 grand-daughter Natasha and 2 brothers-in-law Argo Shook and Larry Kibler.
