Obituary
Leroy Lawrence Donsbach, age 80
Of Effingham, IL and formerly of Newton, IL passed away at 1:45 PM – Friday, July 11, 2014 at Lakeland Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Effingham, IL.
Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 7:00 PM on Monday, July 14, 2014 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Newton, IL with Fr. Al Kemme celebrating mass. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to mass in the church. In loving memory of Leroy, memorials can be made to the Newton Knights of Columbus or Stroke Research.
Arrangements are in the care of Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, IL.

Leroy was born on November 12, 1933 in Effingham, IL the son of Clarence and Clara (Wolfert) Donsbach.
He served his country as a Sargent in the United States Army from 1953-1955.
Leroy worked for many years as a farmer and a realtor.
He was a member of the Newton Knights of Columbus #1704.
Leroy is survived by:
4 Daughters- Sandy (Mike) Birch of Newton, IL
Debbie (Karl) Bowermaster of Hartford, IL
Vicki (Mike) Mullen of Newton, IL and
Lori (Travis) Fagen of Highland Village, TX
Grandchildren - Jeremy Reich, Taylor (Laura) Reich, Ashley (Jimmy) Fogarty, Jamie (Caleb) Slaten, Taryn (Torrey) Wolf, Mitchell Birch, Claire Birch, Cole Fagen and Drew Fagen
Great-grandchildren -
Carder, Audrie and Jorjia Reich; Owen Reich; Rylee Fogarty; Beckett and Harper Wolf; Lucas & Elise Slaten.
Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Florence Zumbahlen and Evelyn Hankins and a brother Tom Donsbach.
