Linda Lou Lake, age 59

Linda Lou Lake, age 59 of Rose Hill, Illinois, passed away at 6:35 AM – Sunday, January 26, 2020, at Aperion Health in Olney, Illinois.

A celebration of life will be held with burial in the Scott Cemetery near Winterrowd, Illinois.  Arrangements are under the care of the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois.

Linda was born on November 30, 1960, in Mattoon, Illinois, the daughter of Charles D. Edwards and Norma L. McConaha.

Linda was a waitress and worked at the former Pizza Hut in Newton for several years.  She enjoyed fishing, camping and was a wonderful cook.  She loved to spend time with her family and her dog, Abby.

Linda is survived by: Children - Dusty (Britt) Kocher of Olney, Illinois; Casey Starr of Gillette, Wyoming and Colten (wife Courtney) Schultz of Vienna, Illinois

Grandchildren - Isabella, Delaney, Ainsley, Mason, Kalysta, Kyana, and Natalya

Special friend and companion – Jeff Griffith of Rose Hill, Illinois

Brothers - Charles Edwards and Dewell Edwards both of New Haven, Illinois

Sisters - Jessica Clark of Ogden, Utah; and  Adrienne Mason of Benton, Illinois

Lifelong friend – Barbara Sharp of Effingham, Illinois

Step Mother – Beverly Edwards of New Haven, Illinois

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, brother Bill Edwards and two sisters, Lila Edwards and Jewell Edwards.
