Linzy Adair Michael, age 46

Linzy Adair Michael, of Nokomis, Illinois, passed away at 11:59 PM - Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM – Thursday, June 30, 2016 at the Meyer Funeral Home in Dieterich, Illinois.  Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Elliottstown, Illinois.  Visitation will be held 1 hour before the service.  In loving memory of the Linzy, memorials may be made to the family.

Linzy was born on September 2, 1969, in Pana, Illinois, the son of Herschel Woody and Francis Anita (Adair) Michael.  He graduated from Nokomis High School in 1988, and earned his business management degree from Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield.

Linzy was a farmer, owned Michael Family pressure washing, and worked for Aumann Auction, Inc. for the last 12 years.  He also bought and sold farm equipement.

Linzy attended Grace Baptist Church and was a member of the Montgomery County Farm Bureau.  He loved going to auctions to find new treasures and spending time with his children.

Linzy is survived by: Fiancé – Sonia Davis of Nokomis, Illinois
Children – Jessi Michael, age 9, Haily Michael, age 8, Roy Michael, age 6, and a son expected to be born on October 16, 2016.
Brothers – Dennis Michael of Tallahassee, Florida, Herschel W. Michael, Jr. of Jacksonville, Illinois, and Lyle Michael of Nokomis, Illinois.
Sisters – Amy Kennedy of Greenville, Illinois, Annette Michael – Jefferson of Springfield, Illinois, Lilyen Masscellino of Buffalo, New York, and Theta Vick of Palmer, Texas.

Linzy was preceded in death by his parents.
