Obituary
of Effingham, Illinois passed away at 10:20 AM - Monday, November 9, 2015 at Palm Terrace in Mattoon, Illinois.
Graveside services with flag presentation will be held at 2:00 PM – Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Newton, Illinois with Carroll Ross officiating. Arrangements are under the Meyer Funeral Home in Dieterich, Illinois.
Lloyd was born on May 28, 1932 in Newton, Illinois the son of Carl and Ethel (Gass) Heady. Lloyd served his country from 1952-1954 in the United States Army. He married Corene Bradshaw Jones and she preceded him in death in 1984. Lloyd worked at Norge in Effingham and later retired from Petty's in Effingham, Illinois.
Lloyd is survived by brother Bennie Heady of Mattoon, Illinois and a sister Patricia (Bernell) Gillespie of West Plains, Missouri.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
