Imogene Clark, age 89
of Greenup, IL passed away at 8:00 AM, Thursday, October 24, 2013 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon – Monday, October 28, 2013 at the Bishop Funeral Home in Greenup, IL. Burial will be in the Greenup Cemetery in Greenup, IL. Visitation will be held 2 hours before the service. In loving memory of Imogene, memorials may be made to Lincolnland Hospice.

Imogene was born on June 12, 1924 in rural Cumberland County, IL the daughter of Harold and Lola (Sowers) Cox. She married Denver Clark on August 23, 1943 and he preceded her in death on March 5, 2000.
Imogene was a homemaker and loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Greenup. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards and was an excellent cook.

Linda (Clyde "Bud") Griffy of Cumming, GA
1 Sister – Norma Hines of Daleville, AL
6 Grandchildren –Kevin (Vicky) Griffy, James (Kim) Clark, Mary Beth Sutphen, T. J. (Karen) Sutphen, Chad (Sonia) Sutphen and Emily (Scott) Pavia
9 Great Grandchildren – Fallon Griffy, Logan Griffy, Katie Clark, Joe Denver Clark, Sophie Clark, C.C. Allen, Walker Allen, Ruud Sutphen and Nikolai Sutphen

Imogene is also survived by many friends, family and neighbors in the Gila and Greenup communities.

Imogene was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter-in-law Carolyn Clark and a grandson Phillip Griffy.
