Obituary

Loretta Ellen Waddell went home to be with the Lord at 10:14 PM on Saturday September 5, 2020 at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney. Loretta was surrounded by family when she peacefully left this life.

Celebration of Life service will be at 10 AM on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Antioch Christian Church in rural Richland County. Pastor Mike Baker will be officiating. Burial will be at Haven Hill Memorial Gardens at a later date. Cremation rites will be accorded.

Loretta was born on October 23, 1933 in Joliet the daughter of Harley and Mabel (Duensing) Grove. She married Fred Waddell Jr. in 1953. He preceded her in death. Later she married William J. Mullin. He preceded her in death.

She was a nurse at Richland Memorial Hospital for many years. She enjoyed camping, sewing, crafts, antiquing, gardening and playing bingo. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and her faithful companion Joey. She was lovingly known as "Gramma Dell" by her grandkids and she will be greatly missed by us all.

She is survived by her 4 children, James Allen Waddell wife Pam; Diane Waddell; Peggy Ann Campbell husband Bob; Daniel Michael Mullin wife Robin; 17 grandchildren, Jeniffer Meese (Gary), David Chance (Michelle Burgan), Eddie DeMaire, Robert Scott (Angela), James Waddell (Dawn), Robyn Lewis (Alton), Lindsey Morris (Brad), Rachel Peterson (Josh), Stephanie Seed, Tanya Jones, Katy Baker, Breanna Baker (Cameron Baltzell), Amanda Clark, Cody Wilson (Rachel Cornett) Brandon Recco (Stacy), Chris Campbell, Cody Campbell, Nikki Campbell; many great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Loretta was preceded in death by her husbands Fred Waddell Jr. and William Mullin, parents James and Mabel McNamara, daughter Ellen Ruth, infant grandson Jason DeMaire, infant great-grandson Malachi William Jaxon Baltzell, great-great niece Claire Elizabeth Fullmer and sister Jenny Kwasniewski.
