Lucille A. "Lucy" Probst, age 89
Of rural Wheeler, IL passed away at 1:44 PM - Thursday, November 14, 2013 at her home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM – Monday, November 18, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Island Grove, IL with Fr. Joe Carlos celebrating mass. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Island Grove, IL. Visitation will be held 4:00-7:00 PM – Sunday, November 17, 2013 at the church with a Rosary at 4:00 PM. In loving memory of Lucy, memorials may be made to the Dieterich Civic Center or to the donor's choice. Arrangements are under the care of the Blake-Wright Funeral Home in Dieterich, IL. Lucille A. better known as Lucy was born August 9, 1924 in Lillyville, IL the daughter of John and Catherine (Holkenbrink) Will. She married Leonard "Bill" Probst on April 29, 1944 and he preceded her in death on April 9, 2000.
Lucy was a homemaker and loving mother. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Island Grove of St. Isidore Parish and a member of CCW.
Lucy enjoyed reading, crocheting, playing cards and hosting Saturday morning coffee club.
Lucy's greatest treasure was her family and spending time with them.

Lucy was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter Mary Ann Probst; grandson Jason Bennett; son-in-law Randy Bennett; sister Isabel Hoelscher and three brothers Victor, Edwin and Albert Will.
