Mrs. Madonna Bigard, age 90
Of Newton, IL passed away at 4:20 PM – Monday, January 23, 2012 at Newton Rest Haven in Newton, IL. Visitation will be held 9:00-10:00 AM – Friday, January 27, 2012 at the Blake-Buchanan Funeral Home in Newton, IL with graveside services to follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Newton, IL. In loving memory of Madonna, memorials may be made to the Jasper County Cancer Support Fund. The obituary can be viewed and condolences left at www.blakefh.com.
Madonna was born on December 24, 1921 in Jasper County, IL the daughter of Guy F. and Anna (Vanderhoof) Kinsel. She married Gilbert O. Bigard on May 20, 1940 and he preceded her in death on December 15, 1992.
Madonna was a homemaker and loving mother. She was a member of St Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Newton. She enjoyed gardening and was a great cook.
Madonna is survived by: 4 sons – Larry (Janice) Bigard of Newton, IL; Gerald Bigard of Newton, IL; David (Lori) Bigard of Kansas City, MO and Joe (Maria) Bigard of Newton, IL 8 Grandchildren 13 Great Grandchildren 1 Great Great Grandchild
