Marilyn Jean Hills, age 75
Of Charleston, IL passed away at 7:36 AM – Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Heath Center in Mattoon, IL.
Funeral services celebrating Marilyn's life will be held at 3:00 PM- Saturday, March 31, 2012 at the Bishop Funeral Home in Greenup, IL. Burial will be in the Greenup Cemetery in Greenup, IL. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service. Arrangements are under the care of the Bishop Funeral Home in Greenup, IL. The obituary can be viewed and condolences left at www.blakefh.com.
Marilyn was born on December 29, 1936 in Greenup, IL the daughter of Walter Fred and Mary Maxine (Ozier) Brown.
Marilyn worked for 20 years at the Eastern Illinois University Police Department.
Marilyn enjoyed gardening.
Marilyn is survived by:
2 Sons – Michael (wife Kelly) Hills of Mattoon, IL
David (wife Sherry) Hills of Naperville, IL
6 grandchildren - Jaceson and wife Jennifer Hills of Newton, IL; Jenna Orrell and husband Harley of Casey, IL; Kyle Hills of Naperville, IL; Kendra Hills of Naperville, IL; Sara Cassady of Mattoon, IL and Matt Cassady of Mattoon, IL.
3 great-grandchildren - Jeremiah Hills and Joleigh Hills of Newton, and Hayden Orrell of Casey
Brother – Walter "Brownie" (Wife May) Brown of Greenup, IL
Special - friend, Jerry Roberts of Springfield, IL
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Dick Brown.
