Marjorie M. Hartrich, age 95

Formerly of Ste. Marie, IL passed away at 11:50 AM –Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Imboden Creek Living Center in Decatur, IL.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM – Saturday, April 12, 2014 at the St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Ste. Marie, IL with Fr. Al Kemme celebrating mass. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery in Ste. Marie, IL. Visitation will be held 1 hour before the mass. Arrangements are under the care of the Blake-Buchanan Funeral Home in Newton, IL. In loving memory of Marjorie, memorials may be made to the St. Mary's Catholic Church or the Ste. Marie Foundation.

Marjorie was born on August 15, 1918 in Ste. Marie, IL the daughter of Ed and Nora (Keller) Barthelme. She married Albert J. "Snook" Hartrich on October 6, 1938 and he preceded her in death on August 13, 2005.

Marjorie and Snook owned and operated Hartrich Brothers Grocery Store in Ste. Marie for many years. She was a member of St Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Ste. Marie, IL.

Marjorie enjoyed playing cards, bingo, bowling and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Daughter-in-Law – Sandra Hartrich of Newton, IL

Grandchildren – Lana (Doug) Dhom, Bruce (Traci) Hartrich, Eric (Terry) Hartrich, Julie Burns, Brad Hartrich, Jill Ham, Jason (Michelle) Hartrich, Chad (Heather) Hartrich and Drew Hartrich

Great Grandchildren – Kendra, Tyson, Kelcie, Bailey, Chris, Sterling, Josh, Ross, Karson, Justin, Jackson, Jordan, Mariah, Matthew, Khloe, Logan, Ella, Kingston and Keagan

Great Great Grandchildren – Averie, Brayden, Mason and Hudson

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son Kenneth Hartrich; 4 brothers Bud, Gib, Gene and Joe Barthelme; sisters Mag Ebel, Olivia Sheridan, Eloise Spitzer and Mildred Alblinger.
