Mark Gower, age 45

of Denver, CO passed away unexpectedly at his home at 7:30 PM - Wednesday, April 9, 2014.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM- Friday, May 9, 2014 at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Newton, IL with Fr. Al Kemme officiating. Mark Joseph Gower was born on September 18, 1968 in Olney, Illinois. He was the son of Joseph Gower of Olney and Martha Mary (Moshenrose) Meyer of Indian Hills, Colorado.

A memorial service celebrating his life was held on April 18 in Denver at Support, Inc, the organization that provided residential and supportive services for him for many years.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Stan Meyer, and his father and stepmother Vicki Gower; his aunts Caroline (Jim) Matson of Newton, Kathryn (Gerald) Miller of Aurora, IL, Barbara Totten of Scottsboro, AL, uncles Mark (Debbie) Moshenrose of Phoenix, AZ and Kenneth (Janet) Gower of Scottsboro, AL and many cousins.
Mark was preceded in death by his grandparents, his aunt Joann Harmon and his uncle Ronnie Totten.
