Mark Thoms, 71, of Olney, formerly of Ridgecrest, CA, passed away at 3:22 PM on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.

No services are being planned at this time. Cremation rites will be accorded. Thrasher Family Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Mark was born on October 5, 1949, in Ridgecrest, California, the son of George and Mary Katherine 'Kay' (Frey) Thoms. He later married Ginger Robertson on May 10, 2008 in Lake Elsinore, California. She survives.

He worked as a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and working on cars. He was a member of the American Motorcycle Association.

Mark is survived by his wife Ginger Thoms of Olney; son Mark Wylie and wife Katrina of Texas; 2 nephews Mike Thoms and wife Tammy of Ridgecrest, CA and Dale Thoms and wife Kimberely of Tempe, AZ; and 3 grandchildren Brody, Tristian and Lorlei.

He is preceded in death by his parents George and Kay Thoms, 2 brothers George and Gene Thoms and grandson Jaiden King.

Memorials can be sent to the American Diabetes Association in memory of Mark Thoms.
