Mary Lou (Berger) Murry, 95, of Olney, passed away at 6:20 PM on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Helia Healthcare in Olney.

Celebration of Life services will be at 11 AM on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Cornerstone Community Church in Noble. Cremation rites will be accorded. Burial will be at Crest Haven Memorial Park in Claremont.

Mary Lou was born on June 19, 1927 in Noble, the daughter of Edward and Jessie (Jenner) Berger. She later married Leroy Stephen Murry on February 5, 1948 in Olney. He preceded her in death.

She was a housewife for many years and enjoyed reading books and gardening. She was a member of the Congregational Christian Church. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Mary Lou is survived by her son Ronald Murry (Debra); 2 daughters Julia Stevens (Howard) of Olney and Deborah Riegel (Lowell) of Benton; 2 brothers Clarence Berger and Wayne Berger; 2 sisters Ruth Troyer and Carolyn Gallion; 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Leroy Murry, parents Edward and Jessie Berger, sister Katherine Marks and 4 brothers Glenn Berger, Dale Berger, Lloyd Berger and Donald Berger.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Helia Healthcare for the care of their mother while she was in their facility.
