Mary Margaret Poff, 86, of Olney, passed away at 5:30 PM on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Helia Healthcare in Olney.

Funeral service will be at 2 PM on Monday, June 7, 2021 in the chapel of Thrasher Family Funeral Home in Olney. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Burial will be at Greenhill Cemetery in rural Richland County. Pastor Brett Wright will be officiating.

Mary was born on June 21, 1934 in Richland County the daughter of Bennett and Nora (Whirrell) Poff.

She worked in the fabric department at Walmart before she retired. She was a member of Liberty Christian Church in Wynoose. She enjoyed reading books in her spare time. She was a loving sister and friend to many.

Mary is survived by her sister Doris Poff of Olney and cousins Pat Banks and Ernie and Judy Connect.

She is preceded in death by her parents Bennett and Nora Poff and half-brother Robert Whirrell.
