Mary Ridgley, 70 of Calhoun, passed away at 8:55 AM on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Richland Nursing and Rehab in Olney.
Celebration of Life service will be at 4 PM on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at the Olney VFW. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service time. Jeff Fleming will be speaking.
Mary was born on February 24, 1951 in Gary, Indiana the daughter of Donald and Goldia (Fulk) Ridgley.
She was a beautician for many years. She attended First Baptist Church in Olney. She was a member of the Olney VFW, American Legion and the Eagles. She enjoyed woodworking, working in the garden and planting flowers. She also enjoyed listening to music and dancing. She loved spending time with her grandbabies and going to her sister Betty's lake. She was such a joy to be around and always brought a smile to people's faces.
Mary is survived by her 2 daughters Robin Johnson (companion Tony Smith) of Vincennes and Shelly Turley of Calhoun; 3 step-sons that she loved very much Tony Gosnell of Olney, Jimmy Gosnell (Kodi) of Olney and Kevin Gosnell (Dana) of Tennessee; 3 brothers Frank Totten (Peggy) of Noble, Bob Totten (Karen) of Noble, Donald R. Ridgley of Olney; 3 sisters Kathy Ridgley (companion Ted May) of Ohio, Betty (Ridgley) Richards of Olney, and Ruth Ridgley of Olney; several nieces and nephews; 6 grandchildren Kimberly Bower, TJ Turley (Bethany) Angel Neff (fiancé Doug Earp) Camaron Mason, Colten Stacy and Gage Williams; and 8 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Donald and Goldia Ridgley, 3 brothers Terry Totten, Jerry Totten and John Totten, 3 sisters Marlene Aldridge, Pat Cogswell, and Robin Ridgley, grandson Caleb Michael Mason, special nephew Kenneth "Levi" Ridgley and special friend George Fawks.
Memorials can be sent to the funeral home to help pay for final expenses in memory of Mary Ridgley.
