Maxine Evelyn (Riker) Tohill Quick, age 86

Maxine Evelyn (Riker) Tohill Quick, age 86, of Bogota, Illinois, and formerly of Robinson, Illinois, passed away at 4:00 AM on Monday, September 28, 2026, at Gentle Care in Vincennes, Indiana.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 12:30 PM until 1:00 PM on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at the Gila Lutheran Cemetery near Gila, Illinois, with a service to follow. Maxine was born on September 20, 1940, the daughter of Ralph Orman Riker and Hannah Arrilla (Banning) Riker. She married Keith Leon Tohill and to this union three children were born, Cynthia, Orman and Kevin. She later married Oliver Dan “Danny” Quick on December 5, 1994, and he preceded her in death on June 3, 2026.

Maxine worked at Crawford Electronics and was also a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Red Hat Society.

Maxine enjoyed quilting and knitting.

Maxine was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
