Michael John Garrett, Sr., age 64, passed away on April 29, 2024, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana.

Services for Michael will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at 12:00 Noon with visitation for family and friends
one hour prior to service at the Meyer Funeral Home in Olney. Burial will follow at the North Freedom Cemetery in Noble, Illinois. The obituary can be viewed, and condolences left www.meyerfh.com.

Michael was born on January 5, 1960, the son of Ralph Doty and Dorothy Jane Garrett in Olney, Illinois.  Michael is a retired oil field worker who loved fishing, the outdoors, and being around family and friends. He loved listening to country music.

Sister; Vivian and Diego Sanchez of Olney, Illinois
Many Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren

Michael is preceded in death by his parents Dorothy Jane Garrett and her life partner Ralph Doty,
Grandparents Bernice and Jesse Garrett, and his life partner Sandra Heath.
