Michael Lee Stover, age 33

Michael Lee Stover, age 33, of Olney, Illinois, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2024.

There will be a time of visitation from 4:00 to 6:00 PM on April 19, 2024, at the Meyer Funeral Home in Olney, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Meyer Funeral Home to help the family with the funeral expenses.

Michael was born on October 1, 1990, in Olney, Illinois, the son of Joey and Kim (Griffith) Stover.  He was a loving and nurturing person that enjoyed spending time helping others.  He was a wonderful and attentive Uncle to his nephews and brother to his sister. Michael was a carpenter by trade and worked for ERBA for over 10 years in the weatherization department.
Michael loved nature and would spend time fishing, mushroom hunting, and metal detecting with his father or just spending time out of doors. He also loved to work on his or his friend's vehicles when needed.

Michael is survived by his parents; Joey and Kim Stover of Olney, Illinois; sister; Bobbie Jo Stover of Olney, Illinois; half-brother Brandon Tyler Ferris of Loxahatchee, Florida; grandmother Patricia Seale of Newton, Illinois; nephews: Dawson, Dalton, Daxton, Dayton, and Daggen; and his beloved cat Obama.

Michael was preceded in death by his nephew Dallas Burke, grandmother Pat Burke, grandfather Larry Griffith
and great-grandmother Ruth Griffith.
