Michael William Lustig, age 70, of Wheeler, Illinois, passed away at 7:00 AM - Saturday, February 8, 2025, at his home.

A graveside service celebrating Mike's life be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Dieterich, Illinois.  Family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery at 10:45 AM.  In loving memory of Mike, memorials may be made to the Jasper County Cancer Fund, PO Box 333, Newton, Illinois 62448.  Arrangements are under the care of the Meyer Funeral Home in Dieterich, Illinois.  The obituary can be viewed, and condolences left at www.meyerfh.com.

Michael William, better known to his family and friends as "Mike" was born on January 29, 1955, in Effingham, Illinois, the son of Edward William and Anna Mary (Ruholl) Lustig.  He graduated from Newton Community High School with the Class of 1973.

Mike retired from Fedders and was a lifelong farmer. He was a member of Saint Isidore Parish and enjoyed westerns and antique tractors.

Mike is survived by:

Children – Andrew Lustig (Special Friend Amanda Carlisle) of Wheeler, Illinois; and Audra Lustig (Fiancé Bryan Epps) of Clearwater, Florida

Sister – Dorothy (Vic) Klingler of Newton, Illinois

Mike was preceded in death by his parents.
