Mildred Jane (Brashear) Keller, age 67 of Sugar Land, Texas, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018 at her residence in Sugar Land.

Funeral service will be at 1 PM on Wednesday, March 21 in the chapel of Thrasher Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Burial will be at Liberty Lawn Cemetery in rural Olney.

Jane was born on February 13, 1951, the daughter of Arlie and Elsie (McGinn) Brashear.

She worked as a nurse at Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Houston, Texas. She spent most of her nursing career at Sullivan County Community Hospital in Sullivan, Indiana. She enjoyed traveling and gardening. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Jane is survived by her 2 sons, Trevor Keller of Madison, WI and Matt Keller of Floresville, TX; 3 sisters, Mary Brashear of Olney, Arlene Purdy of Tucson, AZ and Carol Purdue of Bedford, IN; 4 brothers, Fred Brashear of Sanford, FL, Dan Brashear of Olney, Sam Brashear of Olney, and Don Brashear of Orcas Island, WA; and half-sister, Alberta Cummins of Olney

She was preceded in death by her parents Arlie and Elsie Brashear, sister Julia Brashear and 2 half-sisters Dora Fleming and Dorothy Brinkley.
