Mitzi Jo Jones, age 83 of Washington, Ill, formerly of West Liberty, passed away at 8:35 PM on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Reflections Memory Care in Washington, Ill.

Funeral service will be at 11 AM on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 in the chapel of Thrasher Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Haven Hill Memorial Gardens in Olney. Pastor David Starr will be officiating.

Mitzi was born on November 28, 1934, in Olney, the daughter of Walter and Alice (Sprague) Fallert.

She worked as a nurse for many years. She was a Methodist by faith. She enjoyed making crafts and attending craft shows. She played the piano and wrote her own music. She also enjoyed writing poetry, reading books, and sewing. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.

Mitzi is survived by her 2 sons Ricke Fritschle and wife Jane of Flora and Scott Fritschle and wife Sheri of Flora; daughter Greta Waggle and husband John of Olney; 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Alice Fallert, daughter Gina Rennier and infant daughter Kathryn Fritschle.
