Myra Diesser, age 84, of Olney, passed away on May 31, 2025, at Richland Nursing and Rehab in Olney. Myra was born on January 14, 1941, in Chauncey, Illinois, the daughter of Forrest and Alene (Stout) Rosborough. Myra married Gary Diesser on June 12, 1959, in Olney, Illinois and he survives. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Meyer Funeral Home in Olney. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Meyer Funeral Home in Olney with the burial to follow in the Noble Prairie Cemetery in Noble, Illinois. Myra was a faithful member of the First Assembly of God Church in Olney. She loved her family and enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren any time she got the chance. She loved visiting people and would spend hours on the phone talking to friends and relatives and anytime she heard something that needed a reply, her favorite saying was "Oh Brother". She loved her dogs, and she always had a smile. When Myra was younger, she worked at Dog and Suds in Olney. She was the Pow-Wow Queen in her senior year in 1958. She worked at Sheman's store, the Air Call answering service, owned the Waist-A-Way Exercise place and did private care of people in their homes.
