Myrna Kay Quick, age 77, of Dieterich, Illinois, passed away at 3:57 AM - Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Evergreen Nursing and Rehabilitation in Effingham, Illinois.
Funeral services celebrating Myrna's life will be held at 3:00 PM – Monday, March 31, 2025, at the Meyer Funeral Home in Dieterich, Illinois, with Mike Elliott officiating. The burial will be in the Dieterich Village Cemetery in Dieterich, Illinois. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 2:00 to 3:00 PM before the service. In loving memory of Myrna, memorials may be made to the family. The obituary can be viewed, and condolences left at www.meyerfh.com.
Myrna was born on April 7, 1947, in Effingham, Illinois, the daughter of Chauncey and Dorothy (Ullrich) Ervin. She married Charles "Chuck" Leturno on September 20, 1964, and he preceded her in death on August 28, 1966.
Myrna owned and operated the Main Street Café in Dieterich for several years. She had also worked as a bartender at the Dieterich American Legion and as a cook at the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store in Effingham, Illinois.
Myrna enjoyed crocheting, cross stitching, gardening, and was a great cook.
Myrna is survived by:
Children – Cathy Flowers of Altamont, Illinois; Charles "Scott" (Berdeena) Leturno of Dieterich, Illinois; Cris "Crissy" Ebeling of Olney, Illinois; and Beth (Josh) Homann of Dieterich, Illinois
Grandchildren – Carrie (Chris) Mettendorf, Amber (Tommy) Wallin, Michelle (Luke) Dial, Brandy (Thomas) Gardner, Sherman (Shae) Ashley, Sarah (Matt) Leturno-Irwin, Samantha Leturno (fiancé Anthony Miah), Savannah Leturno, Tiffany (Jayme) Godert, Jessica Ebeling, Draven Homann, Pantera Homann, Coraline Homann, Halo Homann, Blithe Homann, and Theia Homann
18 Great Grandchildren
Myrna was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son-in-law Mike Flowers, siblings Harold Ervin, Harry Ervin, Herbie Ervin, Joe Ervin, Jerry Ervin, Anita Drake and Joyce Roley.
