Obituary

Nancy Marie Blankenship, age 66, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Methodist Hospital in Germantown, Tennessee, surrounded by her two sisters. She attended Oak Hill Baptist Church in Pontotoc. Nancy was a speech/language pathologist. She enjoyed reading, crocheting,
 being a huge Cardinals baseball fan, and spending time with her dogs, Ozzie, Harriet, and Patches.

Services in Pontotoc, Mississippi will be as following, Visitation will be Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 5:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M., 
at Oak Hill Baptist Church, with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 6:00 P.M. at Oak Hill Baptist Church, with Rev. Marty Browning officiating. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is honored to assist the Blankenship family with the services. 

Service in Illinois will be at following Visitation will be Tuesday, August 11, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 Am at the Montrose Methodist Church with the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. With Rev. Tonna Percival Officiating. Burial will take place in Old Loogootee Cemetery in Fayette County, Illinois following the service.

Survivors include her two sisters, Sandra Sowers (Daryl) and Janet Tague (Danny), 
and numerous friends from the Oak Hill community and Oak Hill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harrison Eugene and Helen Irene (Albright) Blankenship
 and two brothers, Michael Blankenship and Mark Blankenship.
