Nedra Brown age 60, of Olney, passed away at 3:23 PM on December 1, 2016 at Deaconess Main Campus in Evansville.

Celebration of Life service will be Monday, December 12 at 1 PM in the chapel of Thrasher Family Funeral Home in Olney. There will be no visitation before the service. Gary Wachtel and the Richland County Veterans Organization will be officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded.​

Nedra was born on December 29, 1955 in Effingham, the daughter of William J. and Beulah (O'Dell) Jones. She later married John Brown. He preceded her in death.

She was in the United States Navy. She worked for home health care. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.

Nedra is survived by her brother Gordon Jones; nephew Grady Jones; and niece Melinda Hunley.

She is preceded in death by her parents William and Beulah Jones and brother Dennis Allen Jones.
