Neenah B. Bogard, age 88

Of Ste. Marie, Illinois passed away at 3:35 PM – Monday, September 8, 2014

at Helia Healthcare in Olney, IL.

Funeral services celebrating Neenah's life will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, September 12, 2014 at Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, IL with Steve Willis officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Ste. Marie, IL. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2014 from 5:30-7:30 PM and 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In loving memory of Neenah, memorials may be made to the Jasper County Senior Citizens Center or South Eastern Illinois Hospice.

Neenah was born on January 19, 1926 in Jasper County, Illinois the daughter of Benjamin and Ina (Deckard) Bogard. She was a member of St. Mary's of the Assumption Catholic Church. She worked as a house cleaner for many years. Neenah enjoyed crocheting, cooking and canning but most of all she enjoyed her time spent with family, especially her grandchildren.

Doug (Fiancée Dawn Kraus) Ochs of Ste. Marie, IL and Denise (Bill) Geier of Newton, IL

Brother – Don Bogard of Robinson, IL

13 Great-grandchildren- Amanda (Devin) Holsapple, Tyler (Fiancée Casey Kuenstler) Hemrich,

Sophia Frichtl, Teddy Frichtl, Kyle Ochs, Dylan Ochs, Makenzie Helmink, Kelsey Helmink, Taylor Ochs,

Neenah was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Edna Marie Bogard and Dorothy Bogard and a brother Paul Bogard.
