Nila Lee (Cole) Williams, age 86, of Newton, Illinois, passed away at 2:25 PM – Sunday, December 5, 2021, at her home.

Nila was born on October 12, 1935, in Meredosia, Illinois, the daughter of Charles William and Eleanor (Thorton) Easley, Sr.  She married Tom Williams on September 19, 1974, and he survives.

Nila was a homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother.  She was a member of the Latona Church of Christ.

Nila enjoyed playing BINGO, gardening and taking care of her pets.

Husband of 47 years – Tom Williams of Newton, Illinois

Children – Gary and Becky Cole of Pana, Illinois; Kenneth Cole of Peoria, Arizona; Cindy (Bill) McFarland of Tower Hill, Illinois

Several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Great-great Grandchildren also survive

Nila was preceded in death by her parents, children Connie Crews, Diane Ward, Brian Cole and Tommy Williams, Jr. and brothers Charles Easley, Jr and Everett Easley.
