Mrs. Nonda R. Millsap, age 88 Of Newton, IL passed away at 10:42 AM - Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at Newton Rest Haven in Newton, IL. Services celebrating Nonda's life will be held at 3:00 PM – Sunday, October 2, 2011 at the Blake-Buchanan Home in Newton, IL with Bro. Larry Matson officiating. Burial will be in the Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney, IL. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until service time. In loving memory of Nonda, memorials may be made to Jasper County Boy's and Girl's Park . Nonda was born on September 9, 1923 in Jasper County, IL the daughter of Abel and Zalia (Guess) Harvey. She married Earl V. Millsap on February 8, 1948 in Newton, IL and he preceded her in death on October 21, 1995. Nonda was a homemaker and loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her children Gordon (Judy) Millsap of West Liberty, IL and Shelia Millsap of Newton, IL. Grandchildren- Jeff (Jennifer) Millsap of Auburn, IL Krista Millsap and Ryan Millsap both of West Liberty, IL Great grandson Asher Millsap. Nonda was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister Melba Wilson.
