Obituary

Norma Jean Gibson went to be with her Lord and Savior 11/29/2013 in  Lawrenceville, IL. at United Methodist Village.
She was born May 20, 1929 in Lawrenceville, IL, the daughter of Albert and Nellie Morgan.
She was married to James L Gibson who proceeds her in death along with her parents, brother Kenneth Davis and sister Ethel Nicholson.
Norma Jean was a member of the Free Pentecostal Church.  She enjoyed writing, especially the lessons for the weekly night prayer meeting that she held at her home.  She was not just a loving housewife.  She went beyond that.  She was the caregiver to her Mother, Father-in-law, mother-in-law, and finally her husband. What a remarkable lady.
Norma  Jean is survived by her son, Kevin Borden and wife Janet of Lawrenceville IL and several grandchildren and great grandchildren, A nephew, Marvin Nicholson and wife Pauline of Solsberry, IN.  Norma also leaves behind "Very Special Onesâ€� in her life, wonderful friends, nieces, and nephews.  You all need to know she loved you so very much and appreciated all the kind and caring things you did for her.
Arrangements are under direction of Stasi-Grove Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at the Maple Dale Cemetery Cemetery in Olney, IL,  Thursday at 1:30pm. Friends and Loved ones will gather for a farewell service at the cemetery. Rev. Lorene Beihl officiating.
