Paul Francis Harris, age 62

Of Willow Hill, IL passed away at 12:25 PM – Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at his home.

Funeral services celebrating Paul's life will be held at 10:00 AM – Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the Scott Avenue Christian Church in Newton, IL with Mark Wilkinson officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery in Ste. Marie, IL with full military rites by the Ste. Marie Post #932 American Legion. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM – Friday, October 12, 2012 at the church. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Lincolnland. Paul was born on November 4, 1949 in Effingham, IL the son of Harold and Mary (Ochs) Harris. He married Sue Marlene Stagner on March 11, 1972 in La Jolla, CA.
Paul served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.
Paul was a lifelong farmer. He began farming with his dad and later with his wife and family. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

Tristan, Colby, Adrian and Sadie Harris of Ste. Marie, IL
Anthony and Ryan Harris of Mattoon, IL
1 Brother – Robert (Kathy) Harris of Pensacola, FL
2 Sisters – Carol (Walt) Traitor of Lakeland, FL
Anita (Richard) Kocher of Oblong, IL

Paul was preceded in death by his grandparents.
