Paul L. Potter, Age 68
Of Dieterich, IL passed away at 10:01 AM – Sunday, September 30, 2012 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Illinois.
Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM – Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at the Blake-Wright Funeral Home in Dieterich, IL.
Paul was born on September 14, 1944 in Joliet, IL the son of Houston Braden and Virginia Potter Highbaugh. He married Sandra Plummer on August 9, 1973 and she survives.
Paul worked at World Color Press in Effingham for over 30 years. He enjoyed spending time with family.
Paul is survived by:
Wife of 39 years – Sandra Potter of Dieterich, IL
5 Children – Paul David Potter of Warsaw, WI
Barbara (Michael) Butts of Kinmundy, IL
Sheryl (Richard) Zumbahlen of Dieterich, IL
Pamela (Terry) Dalton of Danville, IL
Tim (Dawn) Bloemker of Effingham, IL
12 Grandchildren
Brother – J.L. Braden of Clinton, TN
3 Sisters – Jeanetta Brewer of Bon Aqua, TN
Jessie Boothe of Rockwood, TN
Shirley Brock of Clinton, TN
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Richie Zumbahlen and several brothers and sisters.
