Pearl L. (Foerster) Anderson, age 86, of Olney, passed away at 7:09 PM on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.

Visitation will be from 5-7 PM on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 in the chapel of Thrasher Family Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 10 AM on Thursday, June 1, 2017 in the chapel of Thrasher Family Funeral Home. Burial will be at Crest Haven Memorial Park in Claremont. Pastor Gary Wachtel will be officiating.

Pearl was born on March 10, 1931, in Wayne County, the daughter of William and Grace (Patterson) Foerster. She later married Gerald I. Anderson on November 23, 1949 in Olney. He preceded her in death on April 5, 2016.

She worked in a factory for many years. She was a member of the Moose Lodge in Olney. She enjoyed gardening and cooking. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Pearl is survived by her 2 daughters, Kathy Hegland and husband Randy of Springfield and Karen Whalen of Newton; brother Harold Foerster and wife Cindy of Olney; sister Francis Stoll of Claremont; 3 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 2 step-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Gerald Anderson, parents William and Grace Foerster, 3 brothers, Raymond, John, and Robert Foerster and son-in-law Eric Whalen.

Memorials can be sent to the American Heart Association or St Jude's Children's Research Hospital in memory of Pearl L. (Foerster) Anderson.
