Peggy Suzanne Williams, age 55
Of Effingham, IL passed away at 9:22 PM Friday, March 9, 2012 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.
Celebration of Life will be held 6:00 PM Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at the Christ's Church 2511 South Veterans Drive Effingham, IL. Memorial may be made to the Cole Alwardt Education Fund or to Breast Cancer Awareness.
The Blake-Buchanan Funeral Home in Newton, IL is assisting the family.

Peggy was born on September 2, 1956 in Peoria, IL the daughter of Charles E. and Eva Mae (Smith) Williams.
Peggy was a 1974 graduate of Newton Community High School. She had worked in home health care. She was a member of the Christ's Church in Effingham.
Peggy was a breast cancer survivor and was very active in breast cancer awareness. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, step dad Glen Gorrell and a brother Bruce Gorrell.
