Phillip Wayne French, age 66 of Olney passed away at 1:39 PM on Friday, January 17, 2020 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.

Celebration of Life service will be at 11 AM on Friday, January 31, 2020 at Free Methodist Church in Olney. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Burial will be at Haven Hill Memorial Gardens in Olney. Cremation rites will be accorded. Pastor Steve Wingert will be officiating.

Phillip was born on August 28, 1953 in Olney. He later married the love of his life, Trisha Hawk on April 20, 2008 in Olney. She preceded him in death on January 3, 2015.

He worked as an oil field worker. He was a member of First Assembly of God in Olney. He enjoyed fishing, collecting things such as marbles and stamps, and he loved his dogs very much. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

He is survived by his mother Betty J. Jennings of Olney, 3 daughters Tasha French (Tammy) of Elizabethtown, KY, Melinda Roldan and Marina Ulrich of Michigan; 3 brothers Larry French of Washington, UT, Billy Fornwalt (Joy) of West Salem, Roger Fornwalt (Terri) of Albion; sister Susan Dalton (Bob) of Fairfield; step-son Shane Stadge of Olney; 5 grandsons Logan French, Zander French, Tucker French, Noah, and Kooper Stadge; and great-grandson Kaysen French.

Phillip was preceded in death by his wife Trisha French, father Bill Jennings and 3 step-brothers.
